Terms of Service

Last updated: 21.09.2026

1. Who we are and what this agreement covers

noryas ("noryas", "we", "us") is operated by Yasin Mustafa Yilmaz, trading as Yilmaz - Einzelunternehmen, Inh. Yilmaz, Yasin, registered address Dachsbau 4, 21635 Jork OT Königreich, Germany. These Terms govern your access to and use of the noryas application at noryas.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

noryas is offered exclusively to businesses and professionals acting in a commercial or self-employed professional capacity ("Unternehmer" under § 14 BGB), not to consumers. By creating an account you confirm this at signup and represent that you are entering into this agreement for your business, not for private, personal, or household use.

2. What noryas is

noryas is a procedure-documentation and execution-tracking tool for technical engineers. It lets you write step-by-step procedures once and execute them with checkoffs, notes, and a logged history of each run.

Each object you add can get a QR code. Scanning it opens a public page, with no login, showing only that object’s name, location, procedures, and any "Besonderheiten" note you chose to add — nothing else in your workspace. You control what goes into those fields; noryas doesn’t decide what’s appropriate to expose that way. See §6 and our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what’s public.

noryas is a documentation and record-keeping aid. It is not a safety system, does not validate the correctness of any procedure you write, and does not verify that a procedure was actually carried out correctly in the physical world — only that you marked it as done. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy of your procedures, for exercising your own professional judgment, and for the real-world consequences of any action you take or don’t take, whether or not noryas was used.

3. Accounts

  • You must confirm at signup that you are acting in a commercial or freelance capacity (§ 14 BGB), not as a consumer — see §1. If that confirmation turns out to be inaccurate, any statutory consumer protections you’re actually entitled to under mandatory law remain unaffected regardless of what was declared at signup.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide a valid email address and confirm it before you can sign in.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • One account corresponds to one workspace.
  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account.

4. Plans and billing

noryas offers a permanent Free plan (up to 3 objects, unlimited procedures, unlimited QR scans, up to 200MB of uploaded images/files) and a paid Pro plan (unlimited objects, unlimited procedures, unlimited QR scans, up to 2GB of uploaded images/files), billed monthly or yearly.

These Terms govern your use of the noryas Service. Your payment transaction is a separate contract with Paddle.com Market Limited (or the applicable Paddle contracting entity for your location), which acts as merchant of record and seller of record for all Pro plan purchases. That transaction is governed by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, not by these Terms. We don’t control, and can’t override, how Paddle handles your payment, invoicing, or any refund it decides to grant under its own policy. See our Refund Policy for how the two relationships fit together.

Renewal term: a Pro subscription has an initial fixed term of one month (monthly billing) or twelve months (yearly billing). After that initial term, the subscription renews automatically for an indefinite period, and you may cancel it at any time, effective at the end of the then-current billing period, with notice of up to one month — in line with § 309 Nr. 9 BGB. For yearly billing, each renewal is still charged as a single payment in advance for the coming year; that stays a technical billing cycle only and does not commit you to another fixed one-year term.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal (Settings → Manage billing) while signed in, or via our public cancellation page, which requires no login. See our Refund Policy for what happens to payments already made when you cancel.

We may change plan pricing or limits going forward. Changes won’t retroactively apply to a billing period you’ve already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or upload content you don’t have the rights to.
  • Upload malware, executables, or attempt to use file attachments to distribute harmful content.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service’s infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Your content

You own the procedures, steps, notes, images, and files you create in noryas. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (e.g. rendering it back to you, generating signed URLs for your images/files, including it in exports). We don’t claim ownership of your content, don’t use it to train any AI or machine-learning model, and don’t use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.

You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to upload anything you put into noryas, and for not including other people’s personal or confidential data you’re not authorized to store. Some content you enter — for example a site contact’s name in an object’s "Besonderheiten" field, or a colleague’s name in a procedure note — may itself be personal data of a third party. Where that’s the case, you act as the controller of that data and we act as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of this agreement (see §9 below).

Content behind a public QR-code page (see §2) is visible to anyone who scans it, without login. Don’t put anything in a field surfaced there — including "Besonderheiten" — that you don’t want visible to an anonymous scanner.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This is permanent and irreversible: it removes your workspace, procedures, executions, and uploaded files/images from our systems. We don’t retain a copy after deletion completes, beyond what we’re legally required to keep (e.g. billing records via Paddle, for tax purposes — see our Privacy Policy for retention periods).

If you want a full export of your workspace’s content before deleting your account, contact support@noryas.com and we’ll provide one — do this before deleting, since deletion can’t be undone afterward.

8. No statutory consumer withdrawal right; refunds

Because you confirm at signup that you’re acting as a business or independent professional (§ 14 BGB), not as a consumer, the statutory 14-day EU consumer withdrawal right (Art. 246a § 1 EGBGB, § 355 BGB) does not apply to this contract. If that confirmation turns out to be inaccurate and you are in fact a consumer, any withdrawal or other consumer-protection right you’re actually entitled to under mandatory law remains unaffected by this section.

Refunds of amounts already paid are addressed in full in our Refund Policy. In short: your payment transaction is with Paddle as merchant of record, governed by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy (see §4); beyond what Paddle itself grants under those, noryas does not separately guarantee refunds on either your initial purchase or a renewal, but reviews requests individually.

9. Data processing

Where your use of the Service involves us processing personal data of your own personnel, site contacts, or other third parties on your behalf, we act as your processor and you act as controller of that data under Art. 4(7)/(8) GDPR. The terms of that processing — including our sub-processors, security measures, and how we assist with data subject requests and data breach obligations — are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, this agreement. If your organization needs a separately countersigned copy, contact support@noryas.com.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, noryas and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any consequence of a procedure logged, executed, or missed through noryas. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. gross negligence, intent, or injury to life, body, or health).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you’re a consumer resident in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may still apply regardless of this choice of law. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Amtsgericht Stade, Germany, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use noryas after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
