Refund Policy
Two separate relationships
noryas is offered exclusively to businesses and independent professionals acting in a commercial capacity (§ 14 BGB), confirmed at signup — see our Terms of Service §1. Because of that, the statutory 14-day EU consumer withdrawal right (Art. 246a § 1 EGBGB, § 355 BGB) does not apply to this contract. If your signup declaration turns out to be inaccurate and you are in fact a consumer, any withdrawal or other consumer-protection right you’re actually entitled to under mandatory law is unaffected by anything on this page.
There are two separate things a refund question can be about:
- Your payment transaction — this is a contract between you and Paddle, not with noryas (see below).
- noryas’s own commercial policy — what we ourselves are willing to do beyond that, described below.
Your payment transaction — Paddle
All Pro plan payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (or the applicable Paddle contracting entity for your location), which acts as merchant of record and seller of the transaction. Your purchase is governed by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, which cover any statutory withdrawal or refund right that does apply to your specific transaction, and Paddle’s own discretionary refunds. We don’t control, and can’t override, a decision Paddle makes under its own policy — refund requests handled directly by Paddle go through Paddle’s buyer support.
noryas's own policy
Beyond what Paddle itself grants under its own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, noryas does not offer an independent, guaranteed money-back promise on either an initial purchase or a renewal charge. We review individual requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion — email support@noryas.com with the email address your account is registered under and what happened. This isn’t a commitment to any particular outcome, but we do look at every request.
We send an automated reminder email 7–14 days before any renewal, with a direct link to cancel, so you’re not caught by surprise by a charge you didn’t want.
One specific case worth calling out: if your yearly subscription has already renewed and been charged and you cancel shortly afterward, whether that entitles you to a pro-rata refund for the unused remainder isn’t something we treat as settled either way. We don’t refund this automatically, but we review it individually on request, same as any other refund question.
How an approved refund is processed
Any refund — whether granted by Paddle under its own policy or by noryas at our discretion — is issued by Paddle to your original payment method as the merchant of record, typically within 14 days of approval.
